The Pakistan Cricket Board will demand USD 70 million for not complete the agreement to play a bilateral series. They claim that BCCI fails to play rest two bilateral series. For that PCB will file a dispute to ICC in a few days.

Due to a report, BCCI signed to a contract in 2014 to play Six Bilateral series with Pakistan between 2015 to 2023. But due to political issues, BCCI withdraw from this agreement.

The PCB chairman Najam Sethi said,”Our case is that the BCCI signed an MoU with us in 2014 to play six bilateral series, starting with our home series, which they have not done as yet. Secondly they have avoided playing us in bilateral series since 2008 although they have no issues playing against us in ICC events.”

“We even offered to host our home series against them at neutral venue(s) to be mutually agreed by both of us. In 2016, we even offered to host a limited overs series in Sri Lanka,” he added.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has already in the huge loss due to refusing by all the international teams to tour Pakistan after the 2009 attack on the Sri Lankan team bus. After that Pakistan host their all home series in UAE.

Recently the World XI visited in Pakistan for playing three Twenty-20 International matches. Pakistan won that series by a margin of 2-1 and after that the successful hosting the PCB like to host more series and tournaments in Pakistan.
