Smith might be unavailable for the first T20I

The Australian captain Steve Smith might be unavailable for the first Twenty-20 International match against India due to shoulder problem. He injured himself during the practice session on Thursday after that he skipped the practice session.

Now the scenario is not clear about his availability for the series opener game. If he will miss the game, then David Warner will lead the Australian Team and it’ll be a great chance for the Glenn Maxwell to come up in the batting order.

The recent One Day International series was not well for the skipper, as he scored only 142 runs in the whole series. The Indian Team dominated in the whole series and easily won the series by a margin of 4-1.

Now it’ll be interesting to see the performance of the Australian team in this shortest format of cricket. However, the Australian team management confirmed that there is no any serious concern with the injury of Smith and he is fully available for the upcoming Ashes series.
