These 3 players might miss the second test between India and England at the Lord’s

After dramatic end to the first test match of the series with RAIN as a clear winner. The series is much more poised with 4 matches left and the second match to be played tomorrow at the “Home of Cricket” Lord’s.

For England perspectives they are already without some of their key player with the likes of Ben Stokes who opted out due to mental health issues and Jofra Archer who is suffering from injury.

Same for India as well with likes of Shubman Gill, Washington Sundar and Avesh Khan ruled out of the series before the first match and Mayank Agrawal who injured himself in the nets by a bouncer from Mohammed Siraj.

Stuart Broad will miss the second test at the Lord’s with calf injury while Jimmy Anderson also doubtful for the second test which was starting tomorrow. Both missed the practice session ahead of the important test against India. Jimmy Anderson has a niggle during the first test.

Saqeeb Ahmed added as cover for Stuart Broad for the Lord’s test also Dom Bess will leave the squad and return to Yorkshire as Moeen Ali has been added to the test squad before the second test.

On the other hand Shardul Thakur will miss the second test due to hamstring injury confirmed by the Indian skipper Virat Kohli. Ravi Ashwin might replace him in the second test which is starting tomorrow at the Lord’s.

After the first test at the Trent Bridge, India were in very good position to win but rain spoiled the party. India will try to continue the momentum and will try to win second match at the Lord’s against a probably the weakest England side for a long time
