ENG vs IND 4th test Day 4 LIVE: India are bowled out for 466 in the 2nd innings on the third session of Day 4. It was because of Rohit Sharma, Cheteshwar Pujara, Rishabh Pant and Shardul Thakur’s valuable contributions that India reached to massive total. India have set up a target of 368 in front of the home team.

Rishabh Pant was dismissed just after he scored his half century. Umesh Yadav came to bat on the pitch in the no.9 position. Umesh Yadav scored a quickfire 25 runs off 23 deliveries at a strike rate of 108.70 with one four and two sixes. In the 148th over of the game Chris Woakes bowled a full-length delivery. Umesh Yadav lofts it high all the way over long on for a massive six of 74m. In the very next over, Craig Overton dismisses the 33-year-old. Umesh Yadav drives the full length which went straight to Moeen Ali hand at the covers.

Jasprit Bumrah and Umesh Yadav added a handful of runs which will be valuable for them to defend the score. Shardul Thakur yet again displayed his capability with the willow scoring yet another fifty in the match. Shardul Thakur scored 60 runs off 72 balls which includes 7 fours and 1 six. Time and again Shardul is proving his ability with the bat and its now time for all of us to consider him as an all-rounder.


The Home team needs to do something extraordinary in order to win the test match. The series is currently tied at 1-1 and both team stands a chance to win the test match. India are on the upper side of winning the test although there are high chances of the match ending in a draw.
