He kept pitching it up right from the start of his spell and this time Buttler went fishing after a wide one and it has been sliced neatly to Kohli at tummy height. Safe as a house. Pouched it to his right. England five down.
It was a clever set-up by Shami, he knows Buttler’s go-to shot is the drive and sometimes, you do get carried away when you ping one off the middle, might get away in ODIs and T20s, but this is Test match. It will keep reminding you of the harsh realities more often than not.
