Got cut into half by this googly and was struck on the thigh pad and he just set off for a single that was never there. Naim didn’t respond and Pant was alert as he raced ahead, got to the ball and fired it onto the stumps at the striker’s end. Das was never in the frame. Waste of a wicket but well, he’s had that sort of an evening.
