The Indian middle order batsman Ajinkya Rahane completed his 9th Test century in the first innings of the second test against Sri Lanka. He is unbeaten after the end of Day 1 with Cheteshwar Pujara. He also added 200 runs partnership with Pujara for the 4th wicket.
After the century of Rahane, the Indian captain Virat Kohli, the Indian coach Ravi Shastri and Ajinkya Rahane’s wife delighted. India is looking strong in this second test after winning the toss and decided to bat first.
