The Indian captain Virat Kohli shows his frustration in the today’s first innings of the Sri Lanka innings. On the ball of Indian pacer Umesh Yadav, the Sri Lankan batsman pushed the ball and Kohli was chasing the ball, but the ball finally won the race and goes par the boundary-line.

After that Kohli kicked that ball, which hit the ball boy, who came to collect the ball on the ropes. Kohli almost hit the ball boy at that time. Earlier, the Indian captain won the toss and elect to bat first in the opening test of the series. The Indian team scored 600 runs in their first innings of the match. Shikhar Dhawan and Cheteshwar Pujara hit a brilliant hundred.

In fact Dhawan played attacking cricket on Day 1 and scored 190 runs off just 168 balls with the help of 31 fours. After that Pujara also played a solid test knock and scored 153 runs off 265 balls with the help of 13 fours. Ajinkya Rahane also played a sensible knock and scored a fifty. In the lower order, the debutant Hardik Pandya scored a quick fifty in just 48 balls.

At the end of Day 2, Sri Lanka scored 154 runs with the loss of 5 wickets. The Sri Lankan team is still 446 runs behind the India’s first innings total. The Virat Kohli and team will look for some early wickets in the start of Day 3 to bowled out the Sri Lankan team and also get the lead on a good run.
