Ravi Ashwin bowls a superb delivery to bowled out Dasun Shanaka in the second Test match of Paytm series between India and Sri Lanka.
He’s clipped the off-stump after beating Shanaka in the drift. Lovely, lovely bowling. Slows it up from round the wicket, gets it to curve across the right-hander, and then the ball merely goes on with the arm past the outside edge.
Because Shanaka isn’t to the pitch of it – due to the wonderful length – he’s left guessing if it will turn back or go straight on. He guesses wrong. He plays inside the line of it. This is lovely bowling from the Indian spinners on a good day 1 pitch.
