Sandeep Sharma to Dhoni, no run, nearly an absolute screamer from Sandeep! Would have made it straight into the top IPL catches of all time, had he held on. Shortish and stuck off the pitch as Dhoni looked to work across the line.
Popped a leading edge well wide of Sandeep who dived one-handed to his left, almost aeroplane-like but it didn’t stick. Landed a bit awkwardly in the process and seems to have hurt his left rib-cage. But my word, what an effort! We’ve seen some stunning stuff in this IPL and this one is right up there. Physio checks on him, he’s continuing
