Jadeja tucks this one off the thigh off a hop towards deep backward square leg, and runs through for a quick single, but as he turns back, the bowler is in his way and he decides to abort the second – too late though, as Raina has already made his way back for the second.
The throw comes into the striker’s end, and Pant has whipped off the bails. Raina, unfortunately, has been sold down the river. Not necessarily by Jadeja, but by unfortunate circumstance without any obvious villains. In fact, Jadeja tries to tell Raina that the bowler came in the way, but Raina just puts his head down and walks back.
