Virat Kohli is all ready to break a huge record in the third ODI

The Indian skipper Virat Kohli is set to break the one more record in the upcoming third One Day International match of Paytm series against New Zealand. He need only 83 runs in his next 11 innings to become the fastest batsman to score 9,000 ODI runs.

Virat Kohli has played 201 matches so far, in those matches he played 193 innings and he scored 8,917 runs with the help of 31 centuries. Kohli is already the record holder of Fastest Indian to reach 1,000 runs in ODIs, Fastest Indian and third fastest in the world to reach 5,000 runs in ODIs, Fastest Indian and second fastest in the world to reach 6,000 runs in ODIs, Fastest Indian and second fastest in the world to reach 7,000 runs in ODIs and Fastest in the world to reach 8,000 runs in ODIs.

Virat Kohli is just nine runs short to record of two consecutive years in which he has over 2,000 runs in a calendar year. Kohli is also the leading run scorer in the 2017 calender year in One Day International format, as he has scored 1,347 runs at an average of 74.83 this year.
