The ongoing English competition called ‘The Hundred’ has become a fan favorite in no time. Cricket fans all around the world are short of matches to witness and the Hundred has come in at just the right time. The Hundred is a professional franchise 100-ball cricket tournament involving eight men’s and eight women’s teams located in major cities across England and Wales. The tournament is run by the England and Wales Cricket Board and will take place for the first time in July and August 2021.

English opener Alex Hales plays Trent Rockets in the 100-balls competition and he made the headlines last night for all the wrong reasons. While playing in a match last night, the Englishman got hit on his groin not one but two times. Painful indeed!
The fans couldn’t stop laughing over it and a video compilation of both the incidents got viral on twitter in no time. Even the english cricketers could not stop themselves from laughing at the incident as they reacted to the video from the official twitter handles. Cricketers Liam Livingstone and Sam Billings were two of the well-known cricketers who reacted. Liam Livinstone tweeted “I feel you Alex” while Sam Billings tweeted “Haven’t ever laughed like that on a cricket field.”
