WATCH : Arshdeep Singh deadly stare to Anukul Roy after dismissal

The Punjab Kings had set a target of 192 runs against the Kolkata Knight Riders in the designated 20 overs, while batting first. KKR’s team appeared to be struggling to keep up with the target. KKR’s two batsmen were out at a mere score of 23 runs, after which they returned to the pavilion. Arshdeep Singh played an important role in getting both these wickets.

In the first over of his spell, Arshdeep Singh dismissed Shikhar Dhawan, the captain of Mandip Singh, on the first ball he faced. He soon achieved another success in the same over. A video of this moment is going viral on social media, in which he can be seen showing his eyes after getting the batsman out. You can get an idea of this by watching the viral video yourself.

Actually, in the second over of the match, Arshdeep Singh came to bowl. The left-handed fast bowler delivered his first ball and Mandip Singh played it with a defensive shot, but the ball bounced and went towards Sam Curran who caught it, making 2 runs and sending Mandip Singh back to the pavilion. Then, in a change of batting order, Nitesh Rana sent Kuldeep Yadav to bat at number 1 position against the all-rounder Anukul Roy.

On Arshdeep’s second ball, Kuldeep hit a boundary and opened his account with a four, which unsettled the fast bowler. On the last ball of the over, Arshdeep bowled a delivery which was caught by Sikandar Raza, dismissing Roy. During this time, Arshdeep was caught on camera doing a gesture that could be considered unsportsmanlike, staring at the young player. Fans did not appreciate this behavior from him.
