Head is Bowled by Axar!! It’s a crucial wicket for India, and Axar is absolutely thrilled as he celebrates his 50th Test wicket. The ball was beautifully floated outside off and landed in the footholes, causing it to spin back sharply into the left-handed Head.

He was tempted into a risky drive, but the ball darted past the inside edge and crashed into the top of the off-stump. Head was in great form, but his aggressive approach against spin proved to be his downfall, and he missed out on a well-deserved century.

However, India’s chances of forcing the issue are slim at this point. Travis Head scored a brilliant 90-runs innings in 163 deliveries with the help of 10 fours and 2 sixes. He build a partnership of 139 runs with Marnus Labuschagne for 2nd wicket.

With 8 wickets in hand, Australia have established a comfortable lead, and it seems unlikely that there will be any decisive result. The only wicket to fall in the session was that of Travis Head, who was dismissed for 90. Marnus Labuschagne batted brilliantly to reach a half-century and find his form.

India, on the other hand, seemed to be going through the motions in an effort to maintain some level of engagement. It appears that there will be about an hour of play left before the teams call it a day.

A few hours ago, In the first Test match played in Christchurch, New Zealand defeated Sri Lanka by 2 wickets and took a 1-0 lead in the two-match Test series. This victory by the Kiwi team has benefitted Team India, and now the Indian team, led by Rohit Sharma, has qualified for the final of the World Test Championship. India will now face Australia in the final.
