When it comes to ‘testing’ the patience of the opposition bowlers in test cricket, nobody does it better than the Indian mastermind Cheteshwar Pujara. Being one of the best players of Test cricket in the world, Cheteshwar Pujara just knows how to get under the skin of his opponents without using a single cuss word, i.e, without sledging. He displayed the best example of the same on day 3 of the fourth test between India and England.

In the 48th over of India’s second innings of the ongoing 4th test, Pujara showed hell to English pacer Craig Overton who completely lost his cool by Cheteshwar Pujara’s brilliant mind games. Starting from the second delivery of the over, Cheteshwar Pujara hit 2 straight boundaries (fours) and baffled Craig Overton. Overton wanted his revenge on the fourth delivery as he ran in to bowl with every energy he had left in him. However, Pujara kind of trolled him by playing an ultra-defensive shot with which he totally got under the skin of the pacer.
Losing his calm, Craig Overton picked up the ball in rebound and mock-threw it towards Cheteshwar Pujara. However, Oujara being the savage that he is, did not even flinch. Instead, he started smiling under his helmet.
Cheteshwar Pujara went on to play a brilliant knock of 61 runs before departing courtesy of an unfortunate dismissal off another English pacer Ollie Robinson. Pujara thus once again missed the opportunity of scoring a century. He had missed it by just 9 runs in the third test.
