Things are not going well for Virat Kohli lately. Despite still being one of the best batsmen in the world in ODI and T20 formats, his form in Test cricket has only dipped over time. So much so that he is not even the best Test batsman in India anymore according to the ICC Test Ranking. Rohit Sharma overtook the Indian captain on that list a week ago. The ongoing test series against England has also not been very great for Kohli as he does not come anywhere close to the top scorers in the series and is miles behind Joe Root and Rohit Sharma.

Virat Kohli’s lack of form continued in the fourth test as well. He managed to eke out a fifty in the first innings but missed it in the second innings by just 6 runs. He gave away his wicket cheaply to Moeen Ali in the last ball of the 110th over. It was Virat Kohli’s 6th edge in the England series so far and Craig Overton who was standing at the slip, easily caught hold of it. It was a disappointing dismissal for Virat Kohli as he was by then a set batsman having played 96 balls.

Virat Kohli was seemingly very frustrated and upset with himself after giving away his wicket so cheaply. On reaching the dressing room, he punched the wall out of frustration and the moment was caught on camera. The video clip went viral on social media in no time. The Indian fans are now hoping that Virat Kohli returns to his vintage old form soon.
