The UP Warriorz’s pursuit of 158 ended in disappointment as they suffered an early blow with the dismissal of the in-form Alyssa Healy.
What made the dismissal particularly intriguing was that it came at the hands of her Australian teammate, Sophie Molineux, who delivered a bowler’s dream ball.
After starting with a boundary off the first ball, Molineux’s second delivery of the second over was a fuller one, pitching at the middle stump line.
The trajectory and flight of the ball tempted Healy into a front-foot defense, only for the seasoned batter to be completely deceived.

The ball gripped the surface and spun away sharply, evading the outside edge of the bat and clipping the off stump’s top. For any bowler, hitting the top of the stumps is a moment of sheer delight, and Molineux, the RCB all-rounder, managed to stun her own national captain, setting Twitter ablaze with excitement.
