In the match against Delhi Capitals, Lucknow Super Giants struggled initially while batting first due to the opposition bowler’s swing from the surface. However, Kyle Mayers managed to recover by hitting some big shots and taking advantage of the fielding restrictions.

Nonetheless, Chetan Sakariya stole the spotlight during the fourth over of the innings by dismissing KL Rahul. During the last ball of the fourth over, LSG skipper KL Rahul faced a delivery from left-arm seamer Chetan Sakariya on his leg, which he whipped towards the leg side.

Unfortunately, Axar Patel was positioned at deep square leg and easily caught the ball, leading to Rahul’s dismissal. Interestingly, Sakariya had previously dismissed Rahul twice before the game and continued his impressive form against the prominent batsman.

Chetan Sakariya maintains his impressive track record against KL Rahul by dismissing him for the third time in the IPL. This time, Sakariya delivered a slower length ball on the leg, which Rahul attempted to whip in the air but failed to connect properly. The ball went straight to Axar Patel, who was positioned at deep backward square, making it an easy catch for him.

In the 11th and 12th overs, Kuldeep and Axar made quick strikes to halt LSG’s momentum. Despite Kyle Mayers appearing to take over the game, Axar produced an excellent delivery to breach the defences of the aggressive batsman. Even Stoinis could not contribute much to the scoreboard. As the match entered the slog overs, LSG’s hopes rested on Pooran to make the most of the remaining overs.
