Team India put up a mammoth first day score of 276/3 in the second T20 between India and England, thanks to sensational knocks by the duo of KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma. The visitors will now look to pick up from where they left on day one and thus improve their first innings score to further push England against the wall and get a firm grip over the match.

England won the toss and opted to bowl first. The hosts realized their mistake soon enough as the opening duo of Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul wrought havoc right from the beginning. Their 100+ runs partnership gave India just the start they required and pressurized the English batsmen. It was Rohit Sharma initially who was doing most of the work but the Hitman departed after scoring 84 off 145. The match then became a KL Rahul show. The opener played an unbeaten knock of 127 off 248 and if luck favours, he might even improve his tally on day two and push for a double century.

KL Rahul won the hearts of his fans not only with his knock but by his generous gestures two. The match was delayed for a short while when India were on 46/0. On the way out of the pitch when, KL Rahul stopped near the boundary line to let Rohit Sharma go out first. Rohit Sharma, after noticing it, gently pushed KL Rahul out and they walked out together. The fans were quick to notice this wonderful moment between the two openers and the video went viral on social media in no time.
