Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s deep admiration and affection for the Indian Army is well-known. As a fervent supporter of the armed forces, Dhoni proudly holds the esteemed title of Lieutenant Colonel in the territorial army.

He has demonstrated his admiration for the Indian Armed Forces on numerous occasions, sporting the Balidaan Badge, a distinguished Indian Army insignia, on his wicketkeeping gloves and donning a camouflage cap during an ODI game.

Amidst his strenuous preparation for the forthcoming edition of the Indian Premier League with the Chennai Super Kings, MSD took some time off to visit the Jodhpur Army Camp. A video depicting him standing in an open jeep alongside Armymen is gaining popularity on social media.

or more than a decade, Dhoni has been associated with the Indian Army. Following his leadership in securing India’s victory in the 2011 World Cup, he took a hiatus from cricket for two months to serve in the 106 TA Battalion (Para) in Kashmir, where he was responsible for patrolling and guarding duties.
