WATCH : Rajat Sharma brutally trolled Gautam Gambhir

During a recent news program, renowned TV journalist Rajat Sharma presented the facts regarding the recent controversy between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir after an IPL match. Sharma suggested that Gambhir may be experiencing jealousy towards Kohli’s success and is struggling to accept the fact that Kohli is superior to him.

The match on Monday between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) may not have been the most exciting one, but it has turned out to be the most talked about encounter of the Indian Premier League (IPL) season.

During the match, Virat Kohli had a disagreement with Naveen-ul-Haq on the field, and off the field, things got heated between the former RCB player and current LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir. The situation escalated to the point where players from both teams had to intervene and separate the two individuals. Later, all three involved individuals were fined by the match referee.

Kohli and Gambhir were fined 100% of their match fee, while Naveen-ul-Haq lost half of his match fee. Many theories have been put forward about the incident, but an eyewitness who was present in one of the dugouts has provided a detailed account of the events while speaking to PTI.

“”Gautam asked ‘Kya bol raha hain bol’ (What were you saying?) and Virat replied, ‘Maine aapko kuch bola hi naahin, aap kyon ghus rahein ho’ (Why are you coming in between when I haven’t told you anything).

Gautam responded, ‘Tuney agar mere player ko bola hai, matlab tune meri family ko gaali diya hai. (You abused my player and that’s like abusing my family) and Virat’s reply was, ‘Toh aap apne family ko sambhal ke rakhiye’. (Then you take care of your family). Gambhir’s final reply before they were separated was, ‘Toh ab tu mujhe sikhayega.(So now I have to learn from you,” the eyewitness said.

On May 3, following Rajat Sharma’s views on the controversy, Gautam Gambhir expressed his opinion on Twitter. The mentor of LSG wrote, “The man who fled from Delhi Cricket due to “pressure” seems too keen to present paid PR as his concern for cricket!”
