Despite Gujarat setting a formidable target of 214 runs in the first innings, rain once again intervened, forcing Chennai Super Kings to chase 171 runs based on the DLS method. In a captivating pursuit, Ravindra Jadeja scored 10 runs off the final two balls, clinching the victory and securing the championship for Chennai Super Kings.
Following the match, the celebratory moments unfolded near the CSK dugout, where Ruturaj Gaikwad and Utkarsha Pawar engaged in a conversation with MS Dhoni. After exchanging pleasantries, Utkarsha Pawar embraced Dhoni, subsequently attempting to touch his feet, which Dhoni promptly tried to prevent.
According to media reports, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Utkarsha Pawar are reportedly scheduled to tie the knot on 3 June 2023. Previously, Gaikwad was expected to join the Indian team for the World Test Championship Final against Australia, scheduled to be held at the Oval in London, England. However, due to his impending marriage preparations, the Maharashtra batsman has been replaced by Yashasvi Jaiswal as one of the reserves in the Indian squad.

Speaking of Utkarsha Pawar, the 24-year-old not only shares a connection to cricket through her engagement to Ruturaj Gaikwad but is also a cricketer herself. She has showcased her skills at the state level by representing Maharashtra. Pawar contributes as a right-arm fast bowler and has participated in 10 matches for her state team, impressively taking four wickets while also contributing 41 runs with the bat.
