Royal Challengers Bangalore might have lost the first two matches of the second phase of IPl 2021, but ever since their big win against Mumbai Indians in their fourth match, their spirits have evidently been lifted and they are in a whole new mood. They are currently squaring off against fellow IPL side Rajasthan Royals and are doing unexpectedly well. It seems like it’s a whole new team that we see on the pitch.
There has been a special transformation in the bowling attack of the team. Harshal Patel took a hattrick in the last match against Mumbai Indians and that has seemingly given a whole new fervour to the bowling attack of Royal Challengers Bangalore. Not only Harshal Patel himself but the entire RCB bowling unit has got some new motivation.
Harshal Patel once again picked up 3 wickets in this game. However, it was not on consecutive deliveries this time but in the same over. So how could the other bowlers stay behind? His teammate Shahbaz Ahmed was arguably the best RCB bowler tonight. To give a good competition to Patel’s incredible feat, he himself picked up two wickets in two consecutive deliveries and marked his entry in IPL 2021 in style. The two were big wickets as well. His first target was in form Rajasthan Royals batsman and their captain Sanju Samson and the second was Rahul Tewatia.
