In the clash between Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav showcased both his confidence and skill with the ball by dismissing Rajasthan Royals’ opener Jos Buttler.

Initially, Buttler was given not out by the umpire, but Kuldeep’s conviction prompted captain Rishabh Pant to opt for the Decision Review System (DRS), which proved fruitful for Delhi Capitals as Buttler was adjudged out.

During this pivotal moment, Kuldeep was observed gesturing to Pant, indicating the need to review the decision. Having won the toss, Delhi Capitals elected to field first against Sanju Samson’s team.

They made an early breakthrough as Mukesh Kumar sent Yashasvi Jaiswal back to the pavilion for just 5 runs off 7 deliveries. RR’s skipper, Samson, followed suit, edging one to Pant off Khalil Ahmed’s bowling after scoring 15 runs off 14 deliveries.

Buttler’s departure came next, managing only 11 runs off 16 balls without hitting a boundary. Riyan Parag and Ravichandran Ashwin then steadied Rajasthan Royals’ innings in the middle overs, calming nerves with their composed batting.

Furthermore, this match marked a significant milestone for Delhi Capitals’ captain Rishabh Pant, who made his 100th IPL appearance for the team, becoming the first player in the franchise’s history to achieve this feat.
