During the 44th match of the 2021 edition of IPL between Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad, Suresh Raina was seen flaunting his footballing skills.

While winning the toss, MS Dhoni had put SRH to bat. SRH lost their first wicket in the form of Jason Roy who was dismissed cheaply off Josh Hazlewood. Roy who scored a fifty in his debut match for SRH, managed to score just two runs. SRH scored 41 in the powerplay at the loss of a wicket.
Wriddhiman Saha was dismissed at 29 off Shardul Thakur before the umpire signaled it as a no ball due to overstepping. Saha got a lifeline but couldn’t utilize much as he missed his fifty by 6 runs. Ravindra Jadeja was the one who removed Saha who stayed in the pitch for a long time.

Skipper Kane Williamson who scored a fifty against Rajasthan Royals, failed to impress with the bat. He was dismissed after scoring 11 runs off 11 deliveries. Abhishek Sharma and Abdul Samad scored 18 each. Rashid Khan towards the end added some valuable runs as CSK restricted SRH to 134/7 after the completion of 20 overs.
Meanwhile, in the 2nd over of the first innings Suresh Raina was seen showing off his football skills in the pitch with the cricket ball. He grabbed the ball with his foot and tossed it in the air before catching it.
