Although it is unclear if the video was taken at the Nagpur Test, the Indian fans at the stadium were enthusiastic as they witnessed the former captain bow to the current captain. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been integral parts of Indian cricket for a long time and have a close friendship marked by mutual respect and camaraderie.

The Indian team chose to field three spin bowlers in their lineup. In addition to Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel was selected as the third spinner in the starting eleven. This was part of India’s strategic plan

Two players, KS Bharat and Suryakumar Yadav, are making their debut in the first Test. Bharat was preferred over Ishan Kishan due to his superior wicket-keeping abilities against India’s spin bowlers. He boasts extensive experience playing domestic cricket and keeping wickets against the spinning ball.
