Virat Kohli is known for his dedication to fitness and strict adherence to a healthy diet. However, during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, it appears that Kohli’s love for food has taken center stage once again. In a viral video, Kohli can be seen getting excited over “Chhole Kulche” in the dressing room during the second test at Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium.

The video caused a stir on social media, with Kohli’s fans eagerly discussing his food preferences. After India’s win, coach Rahul Dravid was even asked what was in the food parcel that had so quickly lightened Kohli’s mood.

If the Delhi Test was a mere preview, the ongoing fourth India vs Australia Test at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium is a full-fledged trailer showcasing Kohli’s love for food. Just before the start of the 22nd over, as Mohammed Shami was getting ready to bowl, the camera caught Kohli standing at second slip, munching on what seemed to be a protein or energy bar.

He quickly stashed it away in his pocket as Marnus Labuschagne was about to take strike. As soon as Labuschagne successfully defended the ball, Kohli’s hands went straight back to his pocket, retrieving his bat. However, this time he wasn’t going to enjoy his snack alone. Kohli offered the bar to his teammate Shreyas Iyer, who was standing next to him at third slip.

After some encouragement from Kohli, Iyer finally accepted the snack, pocketing it as the match continued. In a surprising turn of events, just two balls later, Mohammed Shami made a strong comeback, dismissing Labuschagne and securing the second wicket for Australia.

Kohli was once again at the center of attention as he urged the crowd to support Team India and cheer them on. Prior to that, Kohli and India’s captain Rohit Sharma stood alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the Indian team joined him in singing the National Anthem before the start of the Ahmedabad Test. Modi greeted each member of the team, but his interaction with Kohli received the most enthusiastic response from the crowd.
