WATCH: Virat Kohli hits a No-look Six against Shardul Thakur

The batting coach of Royal Challengers Bangalore had commented ahead of tonight’s matchup between RCB and CSK that last night at the nets, RCB skipper Virat Kohli was hitting six kike he used to do a few years ago in his prime and he predicted that Virat would be scoring some good runs the following day. He couldn’t have been more right ! RCB captain Virat Kohli looks full in mood against MS Dhoni’s men and he just can’t stop playing his vintage shots that he was once very famous for. Cover Drive, Leg glance, On drives, you name it. But what stunned the netizens the most, was a particular no look six that he hit off CSK pacer Shardul Thakur.

The toss of tonight’s match between the two IPL giants was delayed a bit due to sandstorms at Sharjah. When it finally took place, Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni won the toss and chose to field first. RCB batted first in their last match against KKR as well and the result did not turn out to be very good. So anyone would generally expect that CSK will have an upperhand bowling first. Turns out Virat Kohli and his men were in no mood to play on the backfoot. The two openers Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal wrought havoc in the CSK bowling attack from the very beginning and started hitting big shots which put the bowlers under pressure that resulted in them making even more mistakes.

That gave Virat Kohli the perfect opportunity to simply bash Shardul Thakur for a no look six. Harsha Bhogle’s commentary was as perfect as it gets. “What a shot…what a shot. That is a shot that often comes in nightmares of the bowlers,” he said.

The expression on Virat Kohli’s face after hitting the shot made the entire thing even more enjoyable.
