India have won the second test against England after a thrilling battle between the two sides at Lord’s, the Home of Cricket. Terrific performances by Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah sealed the victory for team India and they are now 1-0 up against the mighty english side on their home ground and if all goes well, they might even win the series from here.
Mohammad Shami and Jasprit Bumrah’s miraculous batting performance when the Indians had lost all their hopes, came as a silver lining for the Blues and it was the commencement for a history-making process which nobody had even had the slightest idea of.

India gave England a huge target of 299 that they had to chase in less than 60 overs and everyone had assumed that it would be a draw. However, the first two overs changed everything as England lost two wickets in them. It was then that the Indians saw the bigger picture and went for the win.
However, England captain Joe Root was the biggest barrier between team India and victory. And then came the banger. Jasprit Bumrah dismissed the English captain with an out-swinging delivery that was caught by Virat Kohli at slip.

From there, the match started tipping in favour of the Indians and they started picking the remaining wickets of England one by one.
It was all Mohammad Siraj’s show after that. The Hyderabad born lad picked up 4 wickets (the highest among Indian bowlers in second innings) and totally dismantled the England contingent. It was Siraj who picked up the wicket of James Anderson, England’s last wicket, to seal the victory for India.
