Rohit Sharma Returns Home For Medical Checkup

The Indian batsman Rohit Sharma came back to India for a regular medical checkup in the middle of the Test series against Sri Lanka. Rohit Sharma is the part of the Indian squad for the Sri Lankan series. Rohit Sharma missed the cricket due to injury, as he back in the action in the 10th edition of the Indian Premier League.

The BCCI official confirmed the news,”The BCCI medical team confirms that batsman Mr. Rohit Sharma will undergo a scheduled medical check up, as a follow up after his recent surgery,” said the BCCI in a statement.

“There is no health or fitness concern and Mr. Rohit Sharma will fly to Mumbai later today i.e. August 3, 2017, and will rejoin the team tomorrow i.e. August 4, 2017,” it added.

Rohit Sharma didn’t get a chance in the first two Test matches so far in this series, as Ajinkya Rahane played brilliantly so far. Today Rahane scored his 9th Test century and claimed his position in the Indian squad. The Indian cricket Team won the first test by a huge margin of 304 runs and looking great in the second test for another victory.
