According to some close sources, the mega event of world’s most popular Twenty-20 League, i.e Indian Premier League is all set to begin from September 26 to November 8.
The T20 World Cup schedule is also at the same time, but BCCI wants their IPL over any international tournament.
Now it’ll be interesting to see that the reaction of other cricket boards, because the schedule of Asia Cup is also in the same window and the PCB had said that they will strongly object to any change.
“Our stance is absolutely clear, the Asia Cup is set for September and the only reason it should not take place is continued health safety issues. We will not accept that the Asia Cup is moved to accommodate the IPL,” PCB Officials.
