The Kolkata Knight Riders fast bowler Mitchell Starc ruled out of the 11th edition of Indian Premier League due to injury. The Cricket Australia announced about this news on their social media account.
They tweeted,”Mitchell Starc has a ‘tibial bone stress in his right leg’. He will return home for further assessment after the Test and will miss the IPL.”
The fast bowler was bought by the Kolkata Knight Riders in the mega auction with a price of Rs 9.4 crore. This will be a huge loss for the Kolkata Knight Riders franchise.
