Breaking News: Some Indian Players In Sri Lanka Could Fly To England As Injury Replacement

After Washington Sundar injured his finger during the practice match while playing for County Select XI against the Indian team. In the same match the stand by fast bowler Avesh Khan dislocated his thumb.

Since the Indian tour of Australia in 2020 India had missed some of the key player in the series including big names like M Shami and J Bumrah,R Ashwin and Hanuma Vihari missed few matches against the Aussies due to injury. India were forced to handout caps to who were with the team as net bowler, T Natrajan and W Sundar were net bowler in the Border-Gavaskar trophy and made their debut in the decider at the Gabba.

With 10days to go for the most important five-match test series against England ,The visitors have already been dealt with injury blows.

Opener Shubman Gill flown back home to India with a leg injury. He posted a image with heartbroken emoji in it while flying back from England.

While the stand by fast bowler Avesh Khan also all set to fly back to home. While it’s believed that Washington Sundar also heading back to home after injuring his finger, while W Saha and A Easwaran are in isolation after being identified as close covid contact.

With England test series starting in 10 days, Team India need replacement of the injured players and according to recent report some of the players who are in White ball squad in Srilanka could flown back to England. As the white ball series ends on 29th of this month.

BCCI official were in discussion with Bhuvneshwar Kumar about his red ball career.

We will see if replacements are needed to be sent to England immediately,” a senior BCCI official told TOI on Thursday.
