The third match of the ongoing ODI series between India and Sri Lanka is currently being played at Colombo and it had to be halted for some time during India’s innings. It will be right to say that team India were saved by the rain as they were in a very bad situation after losing a number of wickets in quick succession. India had won the toss and opted to bat first and despite getting a great start through Prithvi Shaw and Sanju Samson, they lost momentum due to poor performances in the middle order.

However, the most talked about incident during the rain break was not the performance of any player, but instead an act of India’s head coach Rahul Dravid. In the rain break, he was witnessed sharing some knowledge or rather giving some advice to Sri Lankan captain Dasun Shanaka. The incident was caught in the live telecast and a video clip of the same got viral on social media in no time.
Cricket fans all over the world loved Rahul Dravid’s sportsman spirit as he was clearly helping a young captain (Dasun Shanaka) who was suffering in clutch situations. The Indian coach was probably advising the youngster on how to maintain his calm. Rahul Dravid was well known for his sportsman spirit during his time as a player as well and he has maintained that stature as a coach as well.
