The 34-year-old has three double hundreds to his name in ODI cricket. Rohit is the most successful captain in the history of Indian Premier League. He has won 5 titles as a captain of MI and has won 6 titles as a player.

In the 13th edition of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) a die-hard fan of Rohit Sharma was seen participating in the show. In the promo of the episode, a fan named Pranshu Tripathi was expressing his love for cricket and especially for MI skipper Rohit Sharma.
Pranshu Tripathi is a teacher by profession and carries a picture of his idol in his wallet. Pranshu says that Rohit Sharma is a god to him. Pranshu revealed his love story saying that he met his girlfriend in college. He goes on to say that he is an average looking man while his girlfriend is very beautiful. When Amitabh Bachchan asked him to choose between Rohit and his girlfriend Anamika, Pranshu was in a dilemma.
Pranshu says, “Now that’s an even more difficult question than the one for INR 7 crores, and you haven’t even given me a lifeline!”
