In the match being played at Kensington Oval, Barbados, West Indies won the toss and decided to bat first. Their decision went horribly wrong as the hosts’ batting unit came crashing down in the hands of the Aussie pacers. Australian pacer Mitchell Starc once again picked up 3 wickets and dismantled the Windies. His last wicket of Sheldon Cottrell that brought West Indies’ innings to an end, was special though. His peach delivery cracked through the wicket which then cartwheeled away. This was Mitchell Starc third Cartwheel dismissal of the West Indies tour. The aussie pacer has turned it into his most lethal skill and is doing it for fun nowadays as it is seemingly imminent.
West Indies put up a target of 153 before being all out in the 45th over. Coming on to chase, the Aussies never seemed to have any problem. Despite getting a slow start and losing 4 early wickets, Australia maintained their composure and finally chased the target in 30 overs, thanks to Matthew Wade’s unbeaten knock of 51 off 52.
