New Zealand allrounder James Neesham has always been known for his straightforward and sometimes savage comments and replies to his trolls on twitter handle, and today was no different. A cricket enthusiast from Pakistan tried trolling the 30 year old for a pointless reason and he was quick enough to come up with a great reply. However, the fan did not end it there and he commented again under James Neesham’s tweet. The Kiwi allrounder, however, did not reply the second time.

So what was the twitter brawl all about? Team New Zealand is currently playing a T20 series against Bangladesh on their home turf and James Neesham has been excluded from the squad. He is thus currently in UAE, training with his franchise Mumbai Indians for the second phase of IPL 2021. Ahead of the first T20 between New Zealand and Bangladesh, Neesham took to twitter to ask if the match was being streamed on twitter. It was in reply to this tweet that a Pakistani cricket fan wrote, “Shame on you. Skipped national duties for Money.
James Neesham was not taking any of this hate for no reason and he replied by tweeting “I’m getting a lot of messages like this so I want to be crystal clear. It is an NZ Cricket player welfare policy that first-choice players aren’t on this tour. I made a request for an exemption but that request was denied.”
The fan however, further wrote “We all know what is happening. We aren’t fools. Next T20 Wc will be in Australia. And i will see who will skip IPL in order To participate and prepare for t20 wc and then Play in BBL. It’s all about money game. cricket is not a sport anymore. It’s just Business now.”
