Former Indian cricketer Parthiv Patel has chosen the best playing eleven of the IPL 2023 season. Cricket fans might be a little surprised to see the team selected by Parthiv Patel, as it does not include Rohit Sharma, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, or Hardik Pandya, who are considered prominent players. Parthiv has chosen Suryakumar Yadav as the captain of the team.
The former cricketer named his best team while discussing on Jio Cinema. He said, “I have chosen Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal as openers, and Suryakumar Yadav at number three. I have also included Henrik Klassen and Akshar Patel in the team because both players performed exceptionally well in a team where other players did not deliver. These players took responsibility, so I have kept Klassen and Akshar in the team.”
It should be noted that Parthiv Patel did not include veterans like Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, Ravindra Jadeja, and Yuzvendra Chahal in his team. Parthiv also mentioned the names of his five substitute players, but despite that, these star players couldn’t secure a place in Parthiv’s team.
Instead of Mahendra Singh Dhoni or Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav remained as the captain according to Parthiv’s preference.
