Sri Lanka vs India, 3rd Test – Playing XI and Toss Report

The Indian captain Virat Kohli won the toss and elect to bat first in the third test against Sri Lanka.

Kohli: We are gonna bat first. Looks similar to the second match. We just want to get most advantage of batting first. We expect resiliance at the Test level. It was actually a challenge. We had to work hard to win. I know, some happened incidentally. It’s been working well so far. Today Jadeja misses out due to suspension and Kuldeep comes in.

India (Playing XI): Shikhar Dhawan, Lokesh Rahul, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli(c), Ajinkya Rahane, Ravichandran Ashwin, Wriddhiman Saha(w), Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav

Chandimal: We’d vae batted first. Can’t control the toss. They played really good in the last two games. Two injured so we have made three changes. Sandakan, Kumara and Fernando come in. So many changes.
