The cricket fans came on the pitch after the victory of team India in the third Twenty-20 International match of Paytm series between India and New Zealand at Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram.
Indian team won the match by just 6 runs in a rain affected game and also won the series by a margin of 2-1. Due to the rain match was reduced to 8 overs. The Kiwi captain Kane Williamson won the toss and elect to field first.
The starting of team India was not so good, as the team lost their both openers on the score of 15. The team India scored only 67 runs in the 8 overs. Manish Pandey was the top run scorer for India, he scored 17 runs off just 11 balls with the help of 1 four and 1 six.
The target of 68 runs was not the tough task for the Kiwis, but they didn’t hold the pressure and failed to chase the target. The Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah bowls brilliantly and took 2 wickets after giving 9 runs in 2 overs. He was player of the match and also player of the series.
