There’s a catch at the deep mid-wicket boundary. The umpires are going upstairs to check if it’s clean. Looks like a wonderful tag-team effort from Lockie and Gill. The soft signal is OUT, by the way. Only one thing would be in the third umpire’s mind whether Lockie’s foot has come in contact with the ad cushions. Lots of angles being looked at, so it’s taking time.
Shivam Mavi to Abdul Samad, out Caught by Shubman Gill!! This has become a routine these days. But still credit to Lockie for keeping his calm. Samad gets inside the line and whacks this low full toss towards deep mid-wicket. It kept gaining height but Lockie appears into the frame all of a sudden. Holds onto the catch, realizes that he’s going over the ropes. So, throws it to the near-by fielder. Gill completes the rest.
