WATCH : Arshad Khan slips as he was about to land after the jump

During the IPL 2025 clash between Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants, Arshad Khan suffered a scary moment on the field. While attempting to land after a jump, he lost his footing and missed the spikes area, coming down awkwardly on the side of his boot.

The awkward landing caused him to slide and fall heavily, raising concerns among his teammates and fans. Thankfully, he managed to avoid any serious knee injury, though he did sustain a painful blow to his left shoulder.

As Arshad lay on the ground in clear discomfort, the physio rushed onto the field to assess the damage. After a brief examination, it appeared that the injury wasn’t serious. Arshad got back on his feet and initially looked set to walk off the field. However, after some discussion and reassurance from the physio, he chose to remain in the game, signaling that he was fit enough to carry on.

Unfortunately, the trouble didn’t end there for Arshad. In the same over, he slipped for a second time, triggering further concern. The physio was called out once again to take a look at him. With a slippery patch clearly causing problems near the landing area, the ground staff quickly added some sawdust to improve the surface and reduce the risk of further mishaps.

Despite the back-to-back slips and the discomfort he appeared to be in, Arshad showed resilience and determination. He was soon seen with the ball back in his hand, indicating he was ready to continue bowling.

The quick response from the physio team and ground staff ensured that play could resume without a significant delay, and all eyes remained on Arshad as he pushed through the pain.

Meanwhile, in the broader context of the match, Gujarat Titans were eyeing a crucial win to cement their place in the top two. Captain Shubman Gill won the toss and chose to bowl first against the already-eliminated LSG.

With 18 points from 12 matches, GT have been riding high on the performances of openers Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan. For LSG, despite a four-match losing streak, the team is eager to end their season on a positive note with back-to-back victories in their final two games.
