Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) all-rounder Romario Shepherd left everyone in splits when he hilariously recreated a popular meme during a fun-filled indoor pickleball tournament organized by the team.
Due to persistent rain, RCB players were unable to practice outdoors, prompting the team management to arrange a light-hearted indoor competition for players and support staff.
The meme Shepherd recreated has its origins in the 2023 Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), where a journalist asked Moeen Ali, Sunil Narine, and Andre Russell an oddly phrased question after their final win.
The trio looked confused and unsure how to respond, leading to a moment that went viral and became a much-loved meme across cricket fandoms. In the RCB tournament, the final match saw head coach Andy Flower and squash champion Dipika Pallikal, wife of Dinesh Karthik, emerge as winners.
As the game ended, Romario Shepherd walked up to Flower and humorously mimicked the same question from the viral BPL clip, triggering roars of laughter from everyone present.
This isn’t the first time the meme has made a comeback. During IPL 2024, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) — who had Sunil Narine and Andre Russell in their squad — also recreated the same meme moment after lifting the trophy.
Both players, who had originally been part of the BPL incident, found it just as hilarious the second time.

Shepherd’s comic timing and the perfect setting turned the moment into a memorable highlight of RCB’s off-field activities, showing the lighter side of intense tournament life.
