Having lost all of their initial four matches, Royal Challengers Bangalore finally had a commanding performance in the WPL against UP Warriorz. However, a terrible mistake by Richa Ghosh in failing to dismiss Harris allowed UP to make a comeback. As a result, skipper Smriti Mandhana was furious with Ghosh and expressed her displeasure.
During the 11th over of the innings, Asha Shobana delivered a flighted ball to Harris on the second last ball of the over. The batter attempted to hit a big shot by advancing down the track but was outsmarted by the flight. Ghosh, the wicketkeeper, had a golden opportunity to stump Harris out as she was halfway down the track.
However, Ghosh fumbled while collecting the ball and was unable to break the stumps in time, resulting in Harris getting a reprieve.
