WATCH: Mitchell Starc cartwheels Bravo with a peach delivery – Mirror image of his wicket from the last match

If Cartwheeling in cricket is an art, Australia’s Mitchell Starc is it’s greatest painter. The pacer gave the fans a glimpse of utter greatness during the second ODI between West Indies and Australia. The match, which was earlier postponed due to COVID-19 outburst, was played last night and turned out to be a jam-packed thriller. Aussie pacer Mitchell Starc gave one of his best performances in International cricket in the recent past last night, but it just wasn’t enough to lead Australia to glory as the carribeans cruised past them with ease.

In the match being played at Kensington Oval Barbados, Australia won the toss and decided to bat first. The Aussies got a terrible start after losing a number of wickets in quick succession. Australia scored a mere 187 which is less than the average score in an ODI match and West Indies got an upperhand there itself.

The Carribeans never seemed to be in trouble from the very beginning, but then came in Mitchell Starc to give the Australians some hope. The Aussie pacer picked up three big wickets and none of them were easy ones. He dismantled the big batsmen and made it look easy. Starc has started Cartwheeling batsmen for fun ! His peach delivery Cartwheeled Darren Bravo’s wicket as it toppled away after being struck by Starc’s delivery. The pacer dismissed Darren Bravo for a duck, leaving an immediate impact. Starc also picked up the wickets of in-form Shai Hope and Jason Holder.

Incidentally, Mitchell Starc had taken an exact same cartwheel wicket in the previous match between West Indies and Australia. On that occasion, West Indian batsmen Mohammed fell prey to Starc’s lethal pace. In fact, today’s delivery was an exact mirror image of his delivery in the last match. Several fans have pointed it out on the Internet.

However, the target was too less and Australia’s pace attack led by Mitchell Starc could not defend it despite an exceptional performance. West Indies chased the target with 12 overs to spare and won the match by 4 wickets.
