Indian pacer Mohammad Siraj has been in an exceptional form throughout the England series and he was one of the main reasons behind India’s victory in the Lord’s Test. However, the Indian fast bowler has made a big blunder on the final day of the fourth test between India and England which might cost team India the match and even the entire series.

While facing Ravindra Jadeja in a certain over, England opener Haseeb Hameed played a loose shot straight into the hands of Mohammad Siraj, who was fielding at Mid-on. It was a dolly catch for Mohammad Siraj but to everyone’s surprise, he somehow dropped it. He could not believe it himself and bowler Ravindra Jadeja punched his fists in the air in frustration. Even the other Indian players covered their faces in amazement.

England batsman Haseeb Hameed is in great form and has the capability to run a one man show on the final day of the fourth test, i.e, lead England to victory single-handedly. He has already scored 58 runs in 162 deliveries and seems to have no plans to stop any soon. If he goes on to play a centurion knock, India’s chances of winning the match will be diminished by a great margin and Mohammad Siraj will have to regret missing the catch for a long time. He just gave a lifeline to Haseeb Hameed which is disappointing in a high intensity match like this. But then again, things like this happen in the game of cricket and the players need to learn how to make a comeback from it. Mohammad Siraj might get his redemption in the same match if he manages to pick up a number of wickets.
