WATCH: Saurabh Tiwary takes a brilliant catch to dismiss Moeen Ali: Horrible start for CSK

Saurabh Tiwary’s catch

Mumbai Indians have been off to a terrific start in the opening match of IPL 2021 against Chennai Super Kings as they picked up two big wickets in the first 2 overs. A disastrous start for MS Dhoni and men indeed, which none of their fans would have been expecting. Seemingly their poor form at UAE and Mumbai’s tremendous form at the overseas location has re-emerged.

Trent Boult picked up the big wicket of CSK opener Faf Du Plessis who was making a return to Cricket after suffering an injury in the Pakistan Super League. It is pretty clear now that he did not get much time to prepare for the El Clasico as he had to depart on a duck in the very first over, being caught by Adam Milne. It must be said that he gave away his wicket pretty cheaply to the Kiwi pace machine Trent Boult.

The second wicket though, was completely a piece of art. Fielder Saurabh Tiwary took an exceptional catch to depart in form batsman Moeen Ali and made it 2-2. A dream start for Mumbai Indians. However, credit must be given to Adam Milne as well. It is the first time that the New Zealand bowler is being given the responsibility to open the bowling attack in the Mumbai Indians team and he has very well lived upto the expectations of the management, his captain, and the Mumbai Indians fans.

Moreover, in at 4 Ambati Rayudu retired hurt moments after entering the field and although he might return to the field, for now it must be considered that he is a now done. So with all cards considered, MS Dhoni and Chennai Super Kings are in a big trouble right now.
