Shimron Hetmyer made a significant contribution for the visiting team, scoring a well-deserved half-century while chasing a competitive target of 188. In addition to showcasing impressive power hitting skills, Hetmyer created a memorable moment that caught the attention of viewers. He cleverly incorporated a celebration into his performance, playfully mocking his rival and attracting a lot of limelight.

In the 17th over, during a match between Windies and England, the Windies star attempted to pull a short ball from Curran but failed to make contact. Surprisingly, the umpire raised his finger, declaring the batsman out. Immediately, Hetmyer requested a review, which confirmed through Ultra Edge that there was no contact between bat and ball.

Curran, displeased with the decision, engaged in a verbal exchange with Hetmyer, but it resulted in nothing noteworthy. Or so it seemed! In a later turn of events, the Rajasthan finisher faced off against Sam Curran once again in the 19th over.

On the very first ball after their previous exchange, Hetmyer emphatically struck a boundary over the covers. To add insult to injury, he provocatively ran across the Englishman with his bat raised high, clearly taunting the bowler.

The incident didn’t go unnoticed by the Twitter community, who shared their emotions and opinions about the incident on the social media platform.
