WATCH : SKY consoling Bishnoi with kiss after Lady Luck aids his brutal assault

Mumbai Indians got off to a flying start at the Wankhede on Sunday, thanks to a blazing half-century from Ryan Rickelton against Lucknow Super Giants. Once he set the tone, Suryakumar Yadav picked up the mantle in the second half of the innings, lighting up the stadium with a trademark exhibition of aggressive strokeplay. And no one felt the heat more than Ravi Bishnoi.

The leg-spinner, who had already been launched for a six by SKY in the 11th over — his first ever off Bishnoi in T20s — faced a storm in his next spell. Yadav opened with a majestic six over midwicket and followed it up with a classic one-knee slap to deep square leg for four, asserting his dominance over the young spinner.

But Bishnoi, a mainstay in India’s T20 setup of late, responded in style. Under serious pressure, he delivered a beauty — one that dipped sharply, turned viciously off the surface, and beat SKY’s outside edge. The ball raced past the slip cordon to the boundary, drawing gasps from the crowd and respect from the batter himself.

Realizing he had narrowly escaped, SKY acknowledged the moment in true sportsmanlike fashion. He walked up to Bishnoi, draped an arm around him, and cheekily planted a kiss through the spinner’s helmet grill — a gesture that instantly went viral.

Twitter exploded with reactions, amused and delighted by the unexpected yet heartwarming moment between two Indian teammates in the middle of an intense IPL clash.
